Vatani & Sons

Our family has been at 14, Vishal Darshan for quite some time. Being in Parle Point, we see a lot of local faces coming by. It’s Vatani & Sons, so it is a family thing through and through. My father started it and now we are just keeping it going. The space isn’t huge, but it fits what we need. We handle various bits of business here, mostly dealing with customers who have been coming to us for years. You know how it is in a local spot, you end up chatting more than working sometimes. The building is easy to spot once you get to the right corner. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure things run right. Sometimes the inventory gets a little disorganized when it's a busy week, but we get through it. We prefer it this way, without all the corporate rules and scripted greetings. Just plain talk and getting the job done. Parle Point is a nice area to be in, though parking can be a bit of a headache during peak hours. We try to keep the shop open late enough for people getting off work. It’s a steady life here. We don’t promise anything we can’t do. We just open up in the morning, do the work, and head home. That’s how we’ve always operated. It is a simple life for us.
