Varsha Vikas Fabrics is situated on the first floor, unit U 2217, inside the Pavana Industrial Estate. This is in the M I D C area off Ring Road. It’s a bit different than being in a retail market. Here, it’s all about the industrial feel. The Pavana Industrial Estate is full of sounds—machinery whirring, metal clanking, and the constant movement of goods. Being on the first floor means we have to haul everything up and down the stairs, which keeps us busy. Our unit, U 2217, isn't easy to find if you’re just wandering around, but we like the spot. It’s away from the main street noise but still close enough to the Ring Road to get things delivered without too much trouble. M I D C is a busy hub. You see a lot of people in work clothes and trucks parked at every angle. Inside our space, it’s mostly just shelves and workspace. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor. The walls are a plain color and the floor is concrete. It’s a place for working, not for showing off. The light comes in through high windows and hits the dust motes dancing in the air. We’ve been here in Pavana for some time now, and we’ve gotten used to the industrial pace. It’s a tough environment but it suits the way we operate. Just plain work in a plain building, and that is fine by us.
