Varma Palace

Varma Palace is located in the Sargam Shopping Center on Udhana Magdalla Road in Surat. Being inside a shopping center means our day follows the rhythm of the mall. When the shops open up, we start getting things ready. The address is in the 395007 area, which is a fairly busy part of the city with lots of people coming and going for their shopping or errands. Our place isn't very large, but we have enough space for people to take a break after walking around the center. The air conditioning in the mall helps, but the kitchen area still gets quite warm when we are busy. We see a lot of families on the weekends and office workers during the week. It’s a simple setup with standard tables and chairs. We don't spend much on advertising or anything like that; people usually just find us while they are out shopping. Managing a restaurant in a shopping center has its own challenges, like dealing with the mall rules and the specific timing for deliveries. We spend a lot of time making sure everything is clean because people expect that in a place like this. It’s just us working through the day, taking orders, and making sure the food goes out. It’s steady work, and we have become part of the furniture here at Sargam Shopping Center over the years.
