Alankar Restaurant

You can find us over at Hotel Alankar Guest House right on Station Road in Surat. We are very close to the Central Bus Stand, so there is never a quiet moment around here. The sound of the buses and people shouting is just part of the background every day. We mainly serve the people who are staying in the guest house or travelers who have just gotten off a long bus ride and need something to eat. The restaurant is tucked inside and it’s a straightforward setup with basic tables and chairs. We have been operating here for quite a while now. The floor is a bit worn out from all the feet walking over it but we keep things tidy enough. It’s a convenient place for anyone who doesn't want to wander too far from the station. We don't do anything complicated with the menu. It is just regular food that we know how to make well. In the mornings it can be a bit of a scramble to get the tea and breakfast ready for everyone checking out of their rooms. We see a lot of different people from all over coming through these doors. Most of them are in a hurry to catch their next connection. We just try to provide a decent place to sit for a few minutes and eat. It’s just a plain, honest restaurant near the bus tracks.
