Bliss Restaurant

Surat is a busy city, and the Bombay Market Road area is probably one of the most crowded parts you will find. We are located right at G-2-4, which is easy to spot if you know where the Tapti Ganga Market is. Most people use the New Bombay Market as a landmark because it sits right opposite us. If you spend time around Umarwada, you know how much is going on with all the shops and the people moving goods back and forth all day long. It gets quite dusty and loud on the street, so having a place to sit down and eat is a good thing. We started Bliss Restaurant to give people a spot for a meal when they are out doing their business in the market. It is not a very quiet place, especially during the lunch rush when everyone is in a big hurry to get back to work. The staff is usually busy running between the tables, and we sometimes run out of certain items if it is a particularly packed day. The street outside is full of rickshaws and delivery trucks, so getting here can take a minute. We are just a regular restaurant on the ground floor with some tables and chairs. People from the nearby textile shops come in quite a bit. We just try to keep the food coming out hot and the water glasses full for whoever walks in.
