You can find us over at D-2290-91, 92 on the first floor of the Radhakrishna Textile Market. Most people just call it R.K.T. for short. We are right on Ring Road, which is always a mess with traffic. Our space is mostly for the agency side of things. We deal with lots of paperwork and moving textiles around. It’s a bit of a maze in this building if you aren't used to it. We have a few rooms joined together to keep all the samples and files. It gets pretty loud during peak hours when everyone is shouting across the halls. We’ve got a small desk where we handle the billing and phone calls. Usually, there's at least three of us here trying to coordinate everything. Textiles can be tricky because orders change so fast. We spend half the time on the phone and the other half checking the stock in the crates. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s what we know. The fans are always running because it gets warm in the afternoons. Sometimes the elevator breaks down, so we have to use the stairs a lot. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a steady rhythm. We’ve been part of this market community for a long time now. We know the other shopkeepers around us. It's a busy life but it's okay for us. We just keep moving the stacks along.
