Vardhaman Fabric/Vardhaman Silk Mill Pvt Ltd

Our unit is M 1001, which is located in the New T T Market. We are right behind the Textile Tower on Ring Road, so it is a pretty central spot if you are already in the garment district. We handle a lot of silk and different types of fabric here. The office is usually a bit of a mess with papers and samples scattered across the desks. We spend a lot of our time checking the quality of the weave and making sure the colors are what they are supposed to be. The New T T Market is always buzzing with people, and you can hear the sounds of the city coming in through the windows. It gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we usually have the door propped open. We are not trying to be the biggest or the flashiest mill around, we just focus on what we know. A lot of our day involves talking to the weavers and the people who dye the fabrics to make sure everything is on track. Sometimes things get delayed because of the rain or a truck getting stuck, but that is just part of the job. We have been in this spot for a while, and we have seen the market change a lot over the years. We just keep our heads down and work on the fabric rolls until it is time to go home.
