Vaishali Impex

Vaishali Impex is based in the Kapadia Compound on V.D. Road in Katargam. This area is known for its industrial roots and the busy vibe of the workshops. Our place is tucked away in the compound, and we spend our days handling the import and export side of things, mostly dealing with textiles and related goods. Katargam is a unique part of the city because there is always something being made or moved nearby. We don't have a flashy storefront. It’s more of a functional space where we manage our inventory and talk to our suppliers. The compound can get a bit crowded with trucks and delivery bikes, especially in the afternoons. We’ve been here for a while and know the local rhythms of V.D. Road. Our work involves a lot of paperwork and checking containers to make sure everything is accounted for. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We like the grit of the Katargam area; it feels like real work is happening every day. Some days we are swamped with new arrivals, and other days we are just clearing out the backlog in the warehouse. We don’t use fancy language to describe ourselves. We are just a local business in a busy compound, trying to get the shipments out on time and keep things running smoothly. Working in Katargam means being part of a community that understands the value of a hard day's work and keeps the city moving along. It is a long day usually, but we are used to it.
