V. D. Agency

You can find V. D. Agency at Shop No. 90 on the second floor of the Resham Wala Market. We are right on the Ring Road, which is pretty much where everything happens in this city if you are in the textile business. Being on the second floor means we get a little less noise from the street, but it’s still pretty loud during the day. We act as an agency, so we handle a lot of paperwork and deal with different suppliers and buyers all day long. The shop is mostly desks and files, with some samples lying around. It’s not the kind of place where you’d come for a fancy tour. We just work. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more than we’d like. It’s a good way to stay fit, I guess. We’ve been in this market for a while now and we know most of the neighbors. People stop by for a chat or a quick cup of tea while they are doing their rounds. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the deals go through and everyone is happy with what they got.
