Upkar Creation

Upkar Creation is located at F-3035 in the Surat Textile Market right on Ring Road. We have been here for a while now and the market is always busy. It gets quite loud with all the trucks and people moving about outside, but we are used to it by now. Our shop is usually packed with different fabrics and rolls of cloth. It isn't the most organized place, but we know where everything is kept. My brother and I run the daily stuff, from checking the new stock to making sure orders get sent out on time. We don't have fancy office chairs or a front desk, just some stools and a big table for cutting and measuring. Most of our neighbors on Ring Road have been here as long as we have, so we all know each other well. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall downstairs and talk about how the market is doing lately. We try to stay on top of what people are asking for, but the fashion changes so fast. The traffic on Ring Road can be a real headache, especially in the late afternoons when everyone is trying to leave at once. We just keep the doors open and do our work. It is a simple life and we like being in the middle of all the action. We don't do much advertising because most people just find us by walking through or through word of mouth. It works for us.
