Udipi Restaurant

We are located on Udhna Main Road in Surat, right opposite J.P Bakery. This area is mostly full of small shops and workshops, so there are always people moving around. Our restaurant is a simple place where we serve the local workers and residents. We don't have a big fancy entrance, just a regular door with a small sign above it. Inside, we have some metal tables and chairs that are easy to wipe down. It’s not the kind of place where you would go for a celebration, but it’s good for a daily meal. We have a few guys working in the kitchen who have been here since we opened. They know exactly how much salt and spice to use without even thinking about it. The road outside is very noisy with trucks and rickshaws, but we don't mind it much anymore. We have a large water filter in the corner for everyone to use. Sometimes when the power goes out, we have to use candles or small battery lights, but we don't stop serving. We don't have any website or fancy brochures to show people. Most of our customers come here because they work just down the street. We try to keep the place as clean as we can, but it’s an old building on a busy road, so it’s a constant job. We just show up every day, open the shutters, and get to work. That is how we’ve always done it.
