Tulsi Textiles

Our place is located at 1004/1005 in Chhakkapir Gali. If you know the area, you know how these lanes are. They are very small and always full of activity from morning to night. We have been operating Tulsi Textiles from here for quite a while now. It is a simple setup with metal shelves that go from the floor all the way to the ceiling. We mostly deal with basic fabrics that people use for making their everyday clothes. Every morning we open up the metal shutters and sweep the front of the shop before the first customers arrive. It is a family thing, so there is always someone around to help out if one of us needs to go run an errand or get some food. The alley gets very busy around midday with handcarts and bikes trying to squeeze past each other. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the neighbors while we wait for the new stock to arrive on the rickshaws. It is not a high-end place, just a workspace where we get things done. We keep a simple ledger of who owes what and try to stay on top of the paperwork, though it piles up on the desk sometimes. The walls have some old calendars hanging on them and there is a small wooden stool for people to sit on if they are tired. It is just a regular shop in a regular part of town. We don't try to be anything else.
