Tulsi Textile

Running a textile place on Ring Road is always a bit of a rush. Our unit at 1342/43 Haines Road is right in the thick of it. There are trucks coming and going all day and the noise from the traffic never really stops. We handle a lot of fabric rolls here. Most of our day is spent checking invoices and making sure the right bundles go to the right people. It is not a quiet office job at all. We are usually on our feet moving things around or talking to the transporters who are always in a hurry to leave. The traffic on Ring Road can be a real nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get most of our heavy lifting and loading done early in the morning before it gets too crowded. Tulsi Textile has been in this spot for some time. We have seen the market change quite a bit over the years. Some days are slow and we just sit on the plastic chairs and talk, but then a big order comes in and everyone is working late into the night. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We keep a stash of biscuits and a kettle in the back for when we can't get away for a proper lunch. It is a lot of hard work but it keeps us busy. We don't do much fancy advertising, people just find us through word of mouth or by seeing our sign.
