Tulsi Fabrics

We have our office set up in the Corporate Office Building within the Bombay Market. Our specific spots are PF1 and 4. Being in a big building like this is different from being in a street-level shop. It’s a bit more enclosed and we spend a lot of time under the tube lights. The Bombay Market is a huge place with a lot of different sections. We usually get in early to beat the main crowd that arrives later in the morning. Tulsi Fabrics uses this space mostly for the paperwork and the more organized parts of the business. It gets quite hectic during the peak season when everyone is rushing around the market. We have a few desks and some cupboards full of samples and files. The elevators can be slow sometimes so we often just take the stairs if we aren't carrying too much stuff. There’s always someone coming in to ask about a price or a delivery time. We try to keep things simple and just answer them honestly. It’s a lot of sitting and talking on the phone or working on the computer. Sometimes we walk down to the market stalls to see what’s happening on the ground level. It’s a steady kind of work life. We don't make a big deal out of things, just handle the tasks as they come. It keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
