Todi Creations

We operate Todi Creations out of the Millennium Textile Market on Ring Road. Our specific spots are L-1665 and 1666. It's a massive building, and honestly, even I got turned around when we first moved in. Now we know every shortcut to get to the loading dock. Ring Road is always jammed, so getting here can be a struggle some mornings. Once you're inside, it’s like its own little world. There are hundreds of shops, but we try to keep our corner organized. We have stacks of textiles that reach almost to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze in here sometimes. We spend the day cutting fabric, counting pieces, and talking to the delivery guys. It’s a lot of standing on your feet, so we usually have a few stools scattered around. The tea man comes by twice a day, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. We don’t put on any airs about what we do. It’s just a textile business like many others in Surat. We’ve got a good rhythm going after all this time. Some of the guys have worked here for years. We don't use any fancy systems, just a lot of notebooks and memory. It gets the job done. We just keep our heads down and focus on the orders we have in front of us. It is hard work, but we are used to it.
