The Tadka Corner

You can find us at units 28 and 29 in the Someswara Arcade, which is right at Vesu Char Rasta in Surat. We are situated directly opposite Someswara Enclave, so it is a fairly well-known spot in the Vesu area. We’ve been operating The Tadka Corner for some time, and it has become our second home. We are just regular people who wanted to have a small business in our own city. Every day starts the same way, with us opening up the shutters and getting the kitchen going. It’s a lot of manual work, from scrubbing the counters to organizing the pantry. We don’t have fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just want to make sure the place is open when people are hungry. The area around Vesu Char Rasta is always busy with cars and people going to work. We see the morning rush and then the evening crowd coming home to the enclave across the road. Sometimes the weather gets really hot here in Surat, and we just keep the fans going and keep working. It’s just a handful of us on the staff, and we all know each other well. We don't put out polished ads. We just keep our sign lit up so people know we are here. It’s a modest setup, but it’s what we do every single day.
