The Bombay Lace Co is located at 2/54-A on the Main Road. We are in the Rustompura area, right across from the Electric Sub Station. Being on the Main Road means we hear the sounds of the city all day long. It’s a very busy street. The Bombay Lace Co is a simple shop. We’ve been at 2/54-A for a long time. Across the street, the Electric Sub Station is a big landmark. It makes it easy for people to find us. Rustompura is a place with a lot of small businesses and workshops. We are just one of them. Inside the shop, we have rolls of lace and thread everywhere. It’s not a fancy place with expensive furniture. It’s just a working shop. We spend our hours measuring and cutting for people. The floor usually has some scraps on it by the end of the day. We don’t have a big staff or any corporate rules. It’s just a few of us doing the work. The Main Road location is good because people see us when they go about their business. Rustompura is a lively neighborhood and we are happy to be part of it. The Bombay Lace Co is just a local business that has been here through the years. We keep the doors open and just do what needs to be done. It’s a honest way to make a living.
