Textiledeal

We are located at J-4 in the Japan Market, right near the Delhi Gate. It’s one of those parts of town that never really sleeps. If you’ve ever been to the Japan Market, you know how crowded it gets. Our little spot at Textiledeal is packed from floor to ceiling. We deal with all sorts of fabrics and deals that come our way. The air is always a bit dusty from the fibers, but that’s the trade. We have a couple of old chairs for when someone wants to sit and talk business, but mostly we are on our feet. The Delhi Gate area has so much history, though we’re usually too busy with the ledgers to think about it. My brother helps me out on the weekends when the market gets really slammed. We don’t have a website or anything fancy; we just do things the old-fashioned way with a pen and a notebook. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just open the door wider to let the sunlight in. It’s a bit chaotic, but we know where everything is, even if it doesn’t look like it to an outsider. It’s just us doing what we know how to do in a corner of the market. We don't mind the noise of the crowds outside because it means people are out and about. We just keep our heads down and keep working.
