If you go behind the Kantareshwar Temple near Ring Road, you’ll find us at number 44. It’s a busy little spot. You can hear the sounds from the temple and the traffic from the main road mixing together. We have been here for a good while now. Our day starts with opening the locks and maybe getting some tea from the stall at the corner. The shop is full of various creations we’ve been working on. It’s not a fancy showroom with glass walls and air conditioning that always works. It’s just a place where we get things done. We spend a lot of time on the floor, cutting or measuring or just checking the quality of what comes in. The space is a bit tight, especially when we get a big shipment, but we make it work. Most of our customers are locals or people who have heard about us from their friends. We don't really do the whole social media thing or big ads. We just show people what we have and let them decide. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit and we just sit outside on the steps until it comes back. It’s part of the routine. We like the location because it’s close to everything but tucked away just enough. It’s a simple way to make a living and we’re happy with how things are. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
