Star Fab

Star Fab is situated in the Kohinoor Textile Market on Ring Road. We are in the A-4094 to 4110 section, which is a big space but it fills up fast with fabric. If you’ve ever been to the Ring Road markets, you know it’s chaos most of the time. There are always people carrying huge bundles of cloth on their shoulders and the sound of bells from the rickshaws. Our space is filled with rolls of textiles of all colors. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we can tell the quality of the fabric just by feeling it. It gets quite dusty with all the loose threads floating around. We spend a lot of our time measuring out lengths and making sure the bundles are tied tight. It’s a lot of standing and moving. We don't have fancy office chairs, just some old stools and a big cutting table. The market has its own rhythm, starting early and going until the gates close. It’s a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat and the crowds, but it is where the action is. We just keep our heads down and handle the fabric. Every day is pretty much the same, filled with the smell of new cloth and the noise of the market outside. We are just one shop among many in Kohinoor, trying to stay organized in the middle of all the market madness and the daily rush.
