Essar is our name, and Surat is where we do our thing. It’s a city that never really stops moving, and we try to keep up with that pace as best as we can. Our office isn't located in a shiny skyscraper or anything fancy like that. It’s just a regular place where regular people come to work every morning. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches or slogans for us. We just write down what we need to do for the day and then we go ahead and do it. The air in Surat always smells like a mix of street food and dust from the construction, and we’ve grown to like it over the years. It feels like home to us. We’ve been in this city long enough to see new buildings go up and old ones come down. Through all those changes, we’ve just stayed focused on our daily tasks. We don't talk about being the best or having the most growth. We just try not to make too many mistakes while we work. It’s a quiet life inside the office, even if the city outside is loud and chaotic. We drink a lot of water to beat the Surat heat and keep the fans going all day long. If you’re looking for us, we’re just another door in this busy, crowded city. No frills at all, just Essar doing what we do.
