At Asra Ispat Pvt. Ltd., we are situated at A-15/2 in the Ichchhapore Gidc. If you know the Surat Hazira Road, we are right behind the H P Gayatri Petrol Pump. Being in Surat, specifically in an industrial zone like Ichchhapore, means the environment is very industrial. We deal with steel, so there is a lot of heavy material moving around our yard. The sound of cranes or trucks is pretty constant throughout the day. It is a dusty place because of all the construction and industrial activity on the road outside. We have a small office area where we handle the bills and the weight slips, but most of the action happens out where the metal is stored. The sun gets really hot on the Hazira Road, and you can feel it coming off the steel stacks. We have been here at this location for a while, and the petrol pump behind us is a good landmark for people trying to find the gate. We are not into anything flashy. It is just a lot of logistics, checking the quality of the loads, and making sure the trucks are loaded properly before they head out. We spend our lunch breaks sitting in the shade when we can find it. It is a straightforward business where we focus on the tons of material that come through our gates every week. The days are long and the work is heavy, but it keeps us busy.
