Shree Mahalaxmi Metals

Down at Lg 1 in Hariparth Plaza, it is usually a bit cooler than it is out on the street in Fatakwadi. We are Shree Mahalaxmi Metals, and we have been tucked away in this basement spot for quite some time now. It is a lot of heavy lifting here. We have stacks of metal and different bits and pieces piled up in the corners. Sometimes it is hard to find a specific item if we have not organized things in a few days. The lighting is not the best down here, but we know where everything is by now. You can hear the traffic from the road above us, but it is muffled. People come down the stairs looking for stuff for their construction projects or just small things for their homes. It is a bit of a workout moving the stock around. We do not have a big team, just a couple of us handling the orders and checking the inventory. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk about the news or whatever is happening in the neighborhood. Then suddenly three people show up at once and we are rushing around. We do not have a fancy showroom. It is just a place filled with metal and the smell of iron. We try to keep track of what is coming in and what is going out. It is honest work and it keeps us busy enough. That is life at Hariparth Plaza for us.
