Raj Ispat

Out here at Plot 6118 on Road No. 61 in Sachin Gidc, things stay pretty loud. This is Raj Ispat, and if you know this part of Surat, you know it’s all about the heavy lifting. We deal with steel and iron all day long. The yard is usually full of trucks coming and going, especially early in the morning when the traffic isn't too bad yet. It gets dusty, and the workers are always on the move. We don’t have much time for sitting around in air-conditioned offices. Most of the day is spent checking the stock and making sure the loaders are doing their job right. Sometimes the rain in Gujarat makes everything a bit of a mess, but the work doesn't stop for a bit of water. We’ve been at this address for a good while now, and the neighbors in the Gidc know us well. We aren’t trying to be the biggest name out there, we just want to get the metal where it needs to go without too much fuss. Dealing with steel is honest work, even if your hands stay dirty most of the time. We have a few old desks for the paperwork, but the real action is out on the floor. It’s just us, some heavy machinery, and a lot of metal that needs moving before the day is over.
