Our office is in I-4/64, located in the Ferrous Towers of Nand Niketan Township in Hazira, Surat. Being in one of the towers means we are right in the heart of the township activity. It’s a busy building with lots of people coming and going throughout the day. The office itself is nothing fancy. We have the usual desks, some old computers, and a lot of binders filled with reports and documents. We have been here at Essar for quite a while now. The space is functional and serves its purpose. We don't spend money on marketing or trying to make the office look like something out of a magazine. It’s a place for work, and that is what we do. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or working through spreadsheets. The humidity in Surat can be pretty intense, so we are glad for the air conditioning that helps us keep our focus. We aren't a big corporate team; we’re just a small group of people who know the job well. We eat our lunch together and talk about normal things, not just work. There’s no fancy jargon used here. We just speak plainly and get the tasks done as they come. It’s a steady, regular job in a busy township. We don't need anything more than that to be productive. It’s just our little corner in the Ferrous Towers.
