Essar

We are Essar, and we are based right here in Surat. There isn't a whole lot of mystery to what we do or where we are. We’ve been part of this city for a long time now. Surat is known for a lot of big things, like the textile markets and the diamond shops, but we just focus on our own small piece of the work. Our workspace is pretty basic. We have the usual stuff like chairs, wooden tables, and a few computers that have definitely seen better days. We don't spend our money on fancy furniture or making the place look like a showroom for visitors. We’d much rather just sit down and get the work done. The streets of Surat are always crowded, and the sound of people talking and horns honking is just the background music to our day. We don't have a grand vision or a long list of corporate goals we talk about. We just want to do a decent job today and then come back and do it again tomorrow morning. It’s a simple way to live and work. We don't put out ads or try to convince people we’re something we’re not. We are just a local business in a very big city. Sometimes the monsoon rain floods the streets, and sometimes the sun is too hot to handle, but we stay at it regardless. That’s just life here.
