Sl Textile

We’ve been here at I-2674-75 in the RKTM building on Ring Road for a while now. If you know this part of town, you know how busy it gets every single morning with trucks and people moving rolls of cloth around. Sl Textile is just our small spot in the middle of all that noise. Most days we are just busy sorting through stocks or talking to people who drop by. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a regular workplace where we get things done. Sometimes the lift takes forever, so we just walk up. We handle a lot of different fabrics here. The Ring Road area is always crowded, but we’ve gotten used to the pace over the years. We started out with just a few shelves and now the space is pretty much packed to the ceiling with materials. It gets dusty sometimes because of the construction nearby, but that’s just how it is. We don't really do much advertising; people usually find us because they’re already in the market looking for something specific. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything in these units, but we manage. My brother helps out with the accounts when he can, and we have a couple of guys who handle the heavy lifting. We mostly drink tea from the stall downstairs and keep the shop open until late evening. It’s a simple life running a textile business in this city.
