Sitaram Exports

At Sitaram Exports, we are located out in Sachin, specifically at No-64/1 and 65 in Block No-72. It is a bit of a drive from the main city area of Surat but this is where all the real work happens. The area is very industrial, lots of warehouses and factories side by side. You hear the sound of machines and trucks all day long. We spend most of our time inside the units managing the stock and making sure things are packed right. It isn't a glamorous place to work, honestly. There is a lot of dust from the road and it gets incredibly dusty when the wind picks up. We have a small team here and most of us have been around for a few years. We know the chai wallah down the street and the guys who run the transport trucks. Our day starts early because the morning is the only time it's somewhat cool. By noon, the metal roofs make everything feel like a furnace. We don't really do much marketing or anything like that. People who need us usually know where we are or they find us through word of mouth. We just keep our heads down and handle the export side of things. It’s a lot of physical labor and keeping track of lists. We don't have much of a decorated front office, just the practical space we need to operate. That’s pretty much the reality of our daily life here in Sachin.
