Sidhharth Exports

Our office is located at 701 on the 7th floor of Sangit Sarita Complex. It's over in Narotam Nagar on Anandmahal Road. Being up on the 7th floor is nice because we get a bit of a breeze sometimes, away from the dust of the street. Sidhharth Exports is a small operation. We spend most of our time dealing with paperwork and talking to people on the phone. The lift in the building is a bit slow, so we wait around a lot. We do export work, which means a lot of checking schedules and making sure the boxes are ready to go. It’s not very exciting stuff, but it’s what we do. The office is usually a bit messy with papers everywhere and files piled up on the shelves. We have a small area where we keep the kettle for making tea. Usually, it’s just the three of us here working. Anandmahal Road is a good area, plenty of places to grab a quick snack during the break. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just talk to the people we know and try to get the orders moved out on time. Sometimes there are delays at the port or with the trucks, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. It’s a practical way of working. No one here is trying to be fancy. We just want to finish the day's work and head home. We usually lock up around 7 PM and then I walk down to the tea stall before going to the bus stop.
