Shubh Vivah Sarees Showroom

Bardoli is a nice town to live and work in. We are right near the Jalaram Mandir. You can hear the temple bells sometimes during the day if the street noise isn't too loud. Being at Shubh Vivah Sarees Showroom means we see a lot of people getting ready for big family events or weddings. It is a lot of work. We spend our early mornings cleaning the floors and making sure the displays look okay for the day. The weather gets really hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running all the time. It is mostly just us here, talking to neighbors and waiting for the afternoon rush. People know where the temple is, so they find our shop pretty easily. We have been in this spot for a good amount of time now. Sometimes kids run around outside while their mothers look through the fabrics inside. We don't mind it. We have chairs for people to sit down because choosing a saree takes a long time. It isn't a quick job. We eat our lunch in the back room when we get a chance. The shelves are full of different colors and styles. Some days it is quiet, and we just reorganize the boxes. Other days, three families come in at once and it gets chaotic. We do our best to keep up with everyone. It is a simple life here in Bardoli.
