Shubh Exports

Our place is down in the GIDC Industrial Estate at Makarpura. Specifically, we are at L 17 on the City Light Road side. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly just factories and warehouses everywhere you look. It’s noisy and dusty most of the time because of all the trucks moving in and out of the estate. Shubh Exports has been sitting in this same spot for quite a bit. The office is right at the front of the unit, and it usually smells like machine oil and chai. We don't really do much in the way of decorating. There’s a calendar on the wall and a lot of ledgers piled up. Working in an industrial area like Makarpura means you get used to the power cuts and the sound of generators kicking in. We spend a lot of time checking crates and making sure the labels are right. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. The guys in the back are always moving something. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, the floor gets pretty crowded with stuff waiting to go out. It’s just how it is here. We like being near the main road because it makes logistics a bit easier, even if the traffic is a nightmare during shift changes. Shubh Exports is just a regular part of this big industrial machine.
