Thakor Exports

Thakor Exports is located at Plot No. 206/A in the Centre Point building. We are right near Kadiwala High School on the Ring Road. It’s a very busy spot with a lot of schools and shops nearby. We handle exports of various goods, mostly focusing on local textiles and sundries. The office is usually a bit chaotic. There are boxes piled up and people coming in and out all day. We’ve been at this location for about ten years. The Ring Road is always noisy with buses and rickshaws. We’ve gotten used to the sound. Our team is small, just five of us. We spend a lot of time dealing with shipping documents and customs paperwork. It’s a lot of reading fine print and making sure the numbers add up. We don't have a website that’s updated very often. Most of our business comes from people we’ve known for decades. We have tea together in the afternoon and discuss the day’s problems. Sometimes a shipment gets delayed at the port, and we have to spend hours on the phone to fix it. It’s part of the job. We don’t pretend to be a huge international firm. We’re just a local business doing export work from a small office. The building is old but it’s in a good location for us. We plan to stay here as long as we can. It’s a good living. Everyone knows where the biscuit jar is.
