Oza Padmakshi

My name is Padmakshi, and I’ve been running things here at 6/1448 in Mahidharpura for a while. This is a very old part of the city, and the streets are narrow and usually full of people. My place is just like the others around it—nothing too special on the outside, but it gets the job done. I spend most of my hours inside, working through whatever tasks are on my desk that day. It can get quite noisy outside with all the vendors and traffic, but I’ve learned to tune it out over the years. The room is filled with papers and things I’ve collected over time. I don't have a big reception area or any fancy chairs. People just come in, we sit down, and we talk about what they need. It’s a very direct way of doing business. Mahidharpura is famous for many things, but for me, it’s just where I go to work every day. I know the people around here, and they know me. It feels like home even though it's my place of work. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get around these small lanes, but we manage. I don’t spend money on advertising or anything like that. People just find their way here when they need to. It’s a simple life, and I’m happy with how things are. I just keep my head down and do the work without making a scene.
