Sehzad Exports

Sehzad Exports is based in Silver Palace, right by the Shahpore Char Rasta. It’s a very crowded area of the city, and the noise from the intersection is something you just get used to. We’re up in the building, and from the window, you can see all the rickshaws and bikes buzzing around. Our work is mostly about managing the exports, which means a lot of checking items and boxing them up. We deal with various goods, and the office is usually filled with samples and packing tape. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we have our own system. We spend a lot of time talking to vendors and making sure the shipments are going to the right place. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we just keep going. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here. We take short breaks for snacks from the vendors downstairs. The stairs in Silver Palace are a bit steep, and we’re always carrying something up or down. We don't bother with fancy displays or anything like that. We just focus on the orders we have for the day. It’s a busy, cramped space, but it’s where everything happens for us. We just make sure the goods are packed well and the labels are on straight before they head out to the docks.
