Shri Majisa Silk Mill

Shri Majisa Silk Mill is located in the New Textile Market on Ring Road. You can find us at K-704 on the upper ground floor. Being on the upper ground floor is quite helpful because we don't have to climb too many stairs, and it’s easier to move the silk rolls in and out. The New Textile Market is always busy, especially in the mornings when the new stock arrives. We focus mostly on silk, so our space is filled with different textures and colors. It’s a busy life here on Ring Road. The noise from the traffic outside is constant, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We aren't trying to be a big corporate office; we are just a mill shop where work gets done. Most of our neighbors are also in the textile trade, so there’s a lot of back and forth between the shops. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the silk and talking to people who want to buy it. It can get quite cramped when we have a lot of stock, but we manage. The lights in the market can be a bit dim sometimes, so we have our own lamps to see the threads clearly. It’s a steady routine of opening the shop, checking the orders, and dealing with the daily bustle of the market. We take pride in just doing a solid day's work and getting the silk ready.
