Shreeji Fabrics

Shreeji Fabrics is based at Shed 114 in the Trupti Industrial Estate. We are on Ved Road, right across from Akhand Anand College. This is an industrial area, so it’s not the quietest place to work. There are always trucks moving and the sound of machines coming from the other sheds nearby. Our shed is quite large and we keep it full of fabric rolls. It’s a practical space with concrete floors and high ceilings. It can get very hot in the middle of the day, especially when the sun hits the metal roof. We have a few big fans to keep the air moving, but it’s still hard work. We spend our time unloading new shipments and getting orders ready. It’s not a fancy environment. We have a small wooden desk where we keep our ledgers and some old chairs for when we take a break. The area around Ankur Char Rasta is always jammed with traffic, so getting things in and out can be a bit of a challenge. We have been in this estate for a few years now and we know the other business owners around here. We usually eat our lunch together and talk about the day. It’s a simple, hardworking life. We don't have any promotional flyers or a big sign. We just focus on the fabric and making sure the work gets done every day without too much fuss.
