The market opens up pretty early, and the noise starts almost immediately. We spend our hours inside the shop, surrounded by whatever we’re working on that day. It’s a small space, but we make it work. Most of our neighbors in the Shri Ram Market are doing the same thing—just trying to get their work finished and sent out. We don’t have any big fancy offices, just the counter and the shelves. We usually grab some tea from the guy who walks around the floors around mid-morning. It’s a very practical way of living. Ring Road is the heart of the trade here, so being in the New Shree Ram Market keeps us right in the middle of it. We don’t really do much besides show up and do our jobs.
