Shree Sarees

We are over at D-4157-58 in the Millennium Market. It’s on the 2nd floor. Ring Road is right outside, so it’s always loud with horns and people. Shree Sarees isn't a fancy place. We have two units joined together to make enough room for all the stock. The Millennium Market is huge, so it takes a minute to find the right corridor. We’ve been here for a while now. Most days it’s just us moving boxes and talking to customers. It’s a lot of standing around and then suddenly being very busy. We don't have a polished look. There are loose threads on the floor and stacks of paper on the desk. That’s just how a working shop looks. Shree Sarees is our livelihood. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to get through the day and do a good job. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is the highlight for some of us. It’s a bit cramped when we get a big shipment in. We just work around it. Ring Road is a good spot because everyone passes by eventually. We like it here despite the noise and the dust. It feels like home after all these years. We know the security guards and the other guys on the second floor. It's just a regular life in the market.
