Shree Sai Fast Food

Shree Sai Fast Food has been here on City Light Road in Andheri West for a while now. Most days start pretty early when the shutters go up and the first few people walk past on their way to work. It gets loud out there, especially with the traffic always moving. Inside, there are some tables that have seen better days, but they work fine for a quick sit. The kitchen stays pretty hot throughout the afternoon because of the stoves. A lot of our time is spent just chopping vegetables and making sure everything is ready for the rush. Sometimes the delivery guys are seen waiting right by the door, checking their phones while they wait for orders to be packed up. This isn't a very fancy place, just somewhere to grab a bite when you are in a hurry. The walls are painted a simple color, and there is a fan that makes a bit of noise if you turn it up too high. Mostly we know the people who live nearby or work in the shops around us. Usually, someone is asking for an extra napkin or more water while they eat. We keep things moving as well as we can. When the sun goes down, the lights on the street come on and it gets even busier for a few hours. Showing up and keeping the place open is just our daily routine. It is a lot of work, but it is what happens here every day.
