Devyani International Ltd.

We’re based in Surat, over at 404, Haridarshan Apt. It’s an apartment building, so it’s not your usual corporate headquarters. Devyani International Ltd. has a lot of things going on, but here in Gujarat, this is where we do our bit. Much of our time is spent on the phone and checking reports. It’s a quiet enough place to work, away from the main noise of the city streets. We deal with a lot of food service stuff, making sure things are running okay in the outlets. It’s mostly just us sitting around our desks, trying to keep the paperwork in order. There isn't a big sign outside the apartment, so you’d have to know where you’re going to find us. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the neighbors in the building are used to us being here by now. Working from an apartment is a bit different, but it keeps things simple and focused. Big meetings and fancy presentations aren't really our style. We just talk through what needs to be done and then we go ahead and do it. The heat in Surat can be quite something in the summer, but we have our fans and we just keep going. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We’re just a small part of a bigger thing, doing our daily tasks and making sure the business stays on its feet. It’s steady work and we like the routine of it.
