You can find us at Y-2184 inside the Surat Textile Market. If you have ever been to the Ring Road area, you know how massive and confusing this market can be. It is very easy to get lost in all the narrow aisles, but we have been in this specific spot for many years now. The work at the mill keeps us busy from the early morning until the sun goes down. It involves a lot of lifting and moving heavy rolls of cloth from one side to the other. The air inside always smells a bit like raw cotton and fresh dye. We have a small crew of workers, mostly guys who have been with us for a long time and know the routine. We don't really have a front office, just a simple wooden counter where we talk to the traders. The lighting in the market can be a bit dim in some sections, so we have installed some extra lights in our area to see the fabric better. Sometimes the building lift breaks down, and then we have to carry everything up and down the stairs, which is a real chore. We usually eat our lunch together in the small back room while the fans hum overhead. It is a simple life focused on the textiles we handle. We see a lot of different people coming through every day, and we just keep our heads down and do our work.
