Shree Mahavir Creation

We are situated on the second floor of Mohan Ki Chawl, which is units 54 and 55. This is right on LH Road, directly across from the Sona Chamber and very close to the Matavadi Police Chowki. Being in a chawl means the space is a bit old and the hallways can be narrow, but it has a lot of character. We have been working out of these two rooms for a long time. The sound of the traffic from LH Road is always there in the background, along with the sirens from the police station nearby. It is a very busy part of Matawadi and there is always something happening outside. Inside, we have our work tables and piles of fabric that we are working on. We do a lot of the creation part here, meaning there is a lot of cutting and marking going on. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We have a small window that looks out over the street where we can see the tea stall. Most of our day is spent making sure the orders are ready for pickup. It is a humble place but we get a lot of work done in these rooms. Our neighbors in the chawl are also doing similar work so we help each other out whenever someone needs a specific tool or a bit of extra thread for their project.
