Shree Garg Textiles

At Shree Garg Textiles, we’re located at No. 250/10 in the GIDC Pandesara area. We’re right opposite Chinco Dyeing. If you've ever been to this part of Pandesara, you know it's very industrial. There’s always a bit of smoke in the air and the sound of heavy machinery from the dyeing plants nearby. Our place is more of a warehouse than a shop. It’s a large space with high ceilings and heavy metal doors. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading trucks. The dust from the road gets everywhere, so we are constantly dusting off the plastic covers on our stock. It's hard work and your hands get dirty pretty fast. We have a small corner with a table where we do the paperwork and have our lunch. Usually, we just bring tiffins from home. There’s a lot of shouting back and forth between us and the drivers. It’s just the way we communicate over the noise of the traffic. We’ve been across from Chinco Dyeing for a long time, so we know their schedule as well as ours. The sun hits the front of the building in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside. We just open the back windows to get a breeze. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We just focus on getting the orders out and keeping things moving along through the week.
