Shree Brijuka Fabrics

We are based out of No. 29, which used to be No. 7/1, in Teachers Colony. We are on the 2nd Street, up on the 1st floor in the Kodungaiyur area. It’s a bit of a residential feel around here compared to the big industrial parks, which is a nice change of pace. Our fabric business is tucked away in this building. We use the first floor to store and sort through all the different textiles that come through. It’s not a huge space, so we have to be smart about how we stack the rolls. Sometimes the hallway gets a little crowded when a new shipment arrives. Kodungaiyur has its own rhythm, and we’ve become part of it over the years. The light comes in through the side windows in the morning, which helps us see the colors of the fabric better. We don't have any flashy signs or posters on the walls. It’s just a place of work. We handle the fabrics manually, so there’s a lot of folding and unfolding going on. The floor is usually covered in a bit of lint and thread by the end of the day, but we sweep it up before heading home. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just running a small fabric operation and making sure we stay on top of our daily routine. It’s a quiet life in Teachers Colony, and we like it that way. We just keep the business running as best as we can without making things too complicated.
