We are over at Shop No. 8/9 on the first floor of the Navarang Industrial Estate. This is right near Sosyo Circle on UM Road. It’s a busy industrial pocket, and you can hear the sounds of other businesses working all day long. Our shop is just a couple of rooms where we handle our creations. We chose this spot because it’s easy for transport, even if the road gets blocked up during rush hour. Inside, the shelves are pretty packed with inventory. We don't have a lot of empty space to walk around in. The first floor is okay, not too many stairs to climb if the lift is out of order. We keep the lights on late most nights because there is always something left to finish. The walls have some marks from where we move boxes around, and the floor is just plain tiles. It’s a practical environment for what we do. We don't have sales people in suits or any of that. It’s just us in our regular clothes, making sure the orders are right. The UM Road area has changed a lot over the years, and people often repeat the road name when giving directions because of how the circle loops back. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall downstairs and talk about the day’s work. It’s a simple life running a small business like this. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the tasks in front of us and try to get things done right.
