Shree Bajarang Marwadi Bhojanalaya

We are located at shop number 19 in the Reshamwala Market, which is on the busy Ring Road in Surat. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how hectic it can be with all the textile trading and trucks moving around. Our bhojanalaya is right in the middle of all that action. We mainly serve Marwadi style food because that’s what we know best and what our customers seem to want. Most of the people who eat here are workers from the market or traders who are in Surat for business. They want a meal that reminds them of home and doesn't take too long to arrive. We don't have a huge menu, just the daily specials and the standard thali. The place is often noisy with the sounds of the Ring Road outside, but people don't seem to mind. They come here to eat, not for a quiet candlelit dinner. We use big batches of spices and cook in large pots to keep up with the lunchtime rush. Our staff knows most of the regular customers by face if not by name. It’s a very grounded, local business. We don’t use any fancy management techniques. We just make sure there’s enough rotis and dal for everyone who shows up. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside sometimes, especially during the peak hours, but that’s just how it is in a busy market like this.
