Shivam Agencies

I've been here at 1 Vektana in Azad Nagar for a while now. Shivam Agencies is just a small place, really. Every morning starts about the same way. I get here early, unlock the gate, and start moving things around so people can see what we have. It gets dusty pretty fast because of the road outside, so there is always cleaning to do. My neighbor usually drops by for a quick chat before the first customers show up. Most people who come in live right here in the area, so we know their names and what they usually need. It isn't a fancy setup at all. We have shelves that we built ourselves and some old lights that flicker if you don't hit the switch just right. Sometimes the shipments come late and the floor gets crowded with boxes, but we manage to get through it. People ask why I stay in this spot, but it’s close to home and the rent is okay. I spend most of my day behind the counter, checking lists or talking to the delivery guys who stop their trucks out front. It’s a lot of work, keeping track of every little item, but it keeps me busy. The weather gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fan going full speed. It’s just a normal day-to-day business where we try to keep things organized as much as possible without making too much of a fuss about it.
