Shiv Textiles

We operate out of unit 45 in the Tapi Industrial Estate. It is located in the Kapodara area, right off the main Varacha Road. This part of town is very industrial, so there is always the sound of machinery and big trucks moving around. Our space is basically a large shed where we keep the textiles and the equipment we use. It is a practical environment, not the kind of place you go for a quiet sit-down. The walls are just plain concrete, and the floors are hard, but it serves our purpose well. Being on Varacha Road means we are right in the thick of the textile district. We get a lot of dust from the road, so we have to spend time every morning dusting off the stock and sweeping the front area. The workers from the other units in Tapi Industrial Estate are all familiar faces now. We often share a quick word or a cup of tea during the mid-day heat. It is a tough environment sometimes, especially when the summer sun hits the metal roofs, but we are used to it. We don't spend money on fancy office chairs or decorations because the focus is always on the fabric and the orders. Every day follows a similar pattern of unloading, checking, and then shipping things out again. It is honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until late evening.
