Shiv Lehari Textiles

Shiv Lehari Textiles is located over in Regent Market, specifically at A-1-3002. We are also tied in with the Millenium Market area on Ring Road, which is basically the heart of the textile trade here. It is a massive place and easy to get lost in if you aren't used to it. Our shop is one of many, but we have our own way of doing things. We deal with a lot of different fabrics and bulk orders. The hallways outside are always blocked with boxes and plastic bags full of cloth. It is a bit chaotic, but we know where everything is. We don't have a lot of space for sitting, just a couple of stools and the cutting table. My father started this and now I help run it. We don't spend money on fancy brochures. We just show the samples to whoever walks in. Sometimes the lift in the market breaks down and we have to carry everything up the stairs, which is quite a workout. Ring Road is always jammed with trucks and rickshaws, so getting here takes time. We appreciate the people who make the trip to see us. It’s a tough business with a lot of competition, but we just focus on what is in front of us. We stay until the market closes, often skipping lunch when it’s busy. We might not have the newest shop, but we have the right items.
