Shingaar Sarees

Shingaar Sarees is tucked away in the Gambhir Industrial Estate, specifically in A-14 C Wing. To get to us, you have to go off Aarey Road in the Umarwada area. It’s a bit of a maze in this estate if you aren't used to it. We share the wing with a few other businesses, so there is always something going on in the hallways. Our space is filled with sarees from floor to ceiling. It might look like a mess to someone walking in for the first time, but there’s a system to it. We don't have a big storefront with glass windows. It’s more of a warehouse setup where we handle everything from storage to showing samples to people. Customers usually call ahead before they come over because of the location. Aarey Road is usually busy, and Umarwada is a lively part of the city. We’ve been in this wing for several years now. The elevator in the building can be a bit temperamental, so sometimes we just take the stairs to get up here. We aren't fancy people. We just know our sarees and we stay busy throughout the day. It’s a practical way to run a business without all the extra costs of a high-street shop. We just do our work and go home when the sun goes down. It's just a regular local business in a busy industrial spot for the community.
